CAD:

GSPL has got 'CAD' facility for generation of drawings & documentation. Those drawings & documents after being approved by customer, are being used for processes as well as for reference in long run.


Quality Control:

'Quality assurance' is given utmost importance after passing through various processes of product. The Q.C. team has to interact with different process-groups and therefore every process is inspected and tested to meet customer's quality requirement. We have attached a 'Process Flow Chart' along with, depicting Q.C. team's activities against different GSPL's manufacturing process.

'GSPL' believes that establishment of correct process reduces inspection to a great extent, and 'Quality' and 'correct process' can be established with well trained work - force only. 'GSPL' has therefore planned extensive periodical training program to its all working personnel since with trained personnel, great amount of flexibility can be achieved.




Fabrication:

Care is taken during design-stage for easy accessibility and serviceability point of view. 'GSPL' therefore designs the placement of components, with consent of customer from testing, serviceability & accessibility point of view.

The complete structures of cubicles are rigid, free from flaws and twists and self supported. GSPL has manufacturing facility of variety of panels and cut outs are devoid of sharp edges and are of true shape.

Before sending the panels for surface-treatment, the production team consults design & Q.C. team earlier. In order to reduce manufacturing cycle and to establish 'zero-error' product-quality, 'GSPL' is shortly incorporating CNC punch & CNC-Press brake in its existing manufacturing facility.


Bus - Bar Operations:

Following operations are carried out in 'Bus-Bar' section-
1) Bus-bar Cutting
2) Bending
3) Punching
4) Sleeving
Accordingly, following facilities are made available in 'Bus-bar' section-
I)Circular Power Saw M/C - 12mm.
II)Hydraulic Press for Busbar Bending - 50 tonnes.
III)Power Press for Busbar Punching - 20 tonnes.


Metal Pre-treatment Plant:

Panel cabinets, after getting fabricated, need surface treatment prior to 'Powder-Paint' process. For this 9 tank pre-treatment facility is provided.


9 Tank Process:

The following sequential operations are carried out on metal cabinets by gantry crane to ensure excellent surface finish-
1) Pickling Tank
2) Water Rinse Tank
3) De-greasing Tank
4) Water Rinse Tank
5) De-Rusting Tank
6) Water Rinse Tank
7) Phosphating Tank
8) Water Rinse Tank
9) Passivation Tank



Powder Coating (Painting) Process:

Our metal pre-treatment plant consists of 9 tanks as specified earlier. For 'pre-treatment' chemical analysis, the services of the experts in the field are sought.-
1) Size of Powder- Paint Booth:(3.2m x 3.0m x 2.7m)
2) Gas oven, 'electronic controlled' utilized for pre-heating and drying of powder-coated material. The size of oven is: (4.0m x 3.2m x 3.1m)
3) 'The Liquid paint spray booth' facility is also available with us for spraying jobs, of the size: (2m x 3m x 2m)
4) Material handling trolleys for loading in oven : 2 nos.
5) Air - compressors : 2 nos.
6) Paint - gauge : To Ensure right thickness of coat.
7) Gas - Cylinders : bank of 5 cylinders. The 'Painting Staff' is trained time to time to ensure excellent surface finish before and after 'Powder-Coating'.

Incoming Materials:

In order to yield right quality to customer, 'GSPL' exerts vigilance on quality of 'incoming material'. Prior sanctions have been sought by customer about the make, rating of material etc. Therefore during material procurement, due care is taken by Q.C. dept. in checking right quality material. We procure standard material (branded) for our product. The 'list of Vendors' is also attached for customer's content.

Wiring & Assembly:

The fabricated panel after being painted and being cleared by Q.C. is given for wiring and assembly. Wiring is done by 'harnessing charts' with due identification codes on wire. Due care is taken during wiring to ensure visual aesthetics and to meet applicable standard and as minimum requirements. During assembly, every switch gear is opened up for checking and proper precautions are taken during fitting as regards alignments and clearances of busbar, and switch gears etc.
